The Poppy Family was a Canadian pop music group formed in 1967. The group consisted of Terry Jacks and his then-wife Susan Jacks as the primary vocalists. Their music was a mix of pop, rock, and psychedelic sounds, characterized by lush harmonies and catchy melodies. The Poppy Family achieved commercial success in the late 1960s and early 1970s with hits such as "Which Way You Goin' Billy?" and "Where Evil Grows."
Terry Jacks was also a producer and songwriter for the group, and he later went on to have a successful solo career. The Poppy Family disbanded in 1973, but their music continues to be celebrated for its unique sound and enduring popularity.
