Artist Bio:
The Postal Service is an American electronic music duo consisting of Ben Gibbard (from Death Cab for Cutie) and Jimmy Tamborello (from Dntel). The band formed in 2001 in Seattle, Washington. Their music is characterized by a blend of electronic beats and indie pop melodies, with Gibbard providing vocals. The Postal Service released their debut album, "Give Up," in 2003, which received critical acclaim and commercial success, reaching platinum status.

"Give Up" included popular tracks such as "Such Great Heights" and "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight." Despite being a side project for both members, The Postal Service gained a dedicated fan base and toured in support of the album. The band went on hiatus shortly after, but reunited in 2013 for a reunion tour to celebrate the album's 10th anniversary. The Postal Service's unique sound and successful debut album have solidified their place in the indie music scene.
