The Premiers were an American garage rock band from San Gabriel, California, that was active during the mid-1960s. The band is best known for their hit single "Farmer John," released in 1964 on the Linda Records label. The song was a cover of a 1960 tune by Don and Dewey and became a regional hit in California, reaching number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Premiers' version of "Farmer John" is considered a classic of the garage rock genre.

The band's lineup included Lawrence Perez on vocals and guitar, John Perez on drums, George Delgado on saxophone, Frank Zuniga on guitar, and Tony Valenzuela on bass. The Premiers' music was characterized by a raw, energetic sound that reflected the garage rock style popular during the 1960s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, The Premiers left a lasting impact on the music scene with their memorable hit single "Farmer John."
