The Presidents of the United States of America (PUSA) were an American alternative rock band formed in Seattle in 1993. The band consisted of Chris Ballew on bass guitar and lead vocals, Dave Dederer on guitar and backing vocals, and Jason Finn on drums. They are best known for their self-titled debut album released in 1995, which featured hits like "Lump" and "Peaches."

PUSA's music is characterized by catchy melodies, humorous lyrics, and a stripped-down, punk-inspired sound. They enjoyed commercial success in the mid-1990s and gained a loyal fan base with their energetic live performances. The band disbanded in 2016 after more than two decades of making music together, leaving behind a legacy of fun and quirky rock songs that continue to be celebrated by fans.
