Artist Bio:
The Radiants were an American R&B and doo-wop group formed in Chicago in the early 1960s. The group consisted of five members: Maurice McAlister, Wallace Sampson, Jerome Brooks, Elzie Butler, and Leonard Caston. They gained recognition for their harmonious vocals and energetic performances, blending elements of soul, gospel, and doo-wop music.
The Radiants signed with the Chess Records subsidiary label, Twinight Records, in 1964 and released several singles including their biggest hit, "Voice Your Choice." The group continued to record and perform throughout the 1960s, but disbanded in the early 1970s. Despite their relatively short career, The Radiants left a lasting impact on the R&B and doo-wop music scene with their soulful sound and tight harmonies.
