Artist Bio:
The Raeletts were an American girl group formed in the early 1960s as the backing vocalists for Ray Charles. The group consisted of three members: Mable John, Margie Hendrix, and Pat Lyle. They provided backing vocals for Charles on many of his recordings and also performed with him live on stage. The Raeletts' soulful harmonies added depth and texture to Charles' music, contributing to his distinctive sound.

The group's most notable contributions include backing vocals on Charles' hit songs such as "Hit the Road Jack" and "I Can't Stop Loving You." The Raeletts continued to work with Charles throughout the 1960s and early 1970s, before disbanding in the mid-1970s. Despite their relatively short-lived career as a group, The Raeletts left a lasting impact on the music world through their collaborations with Ray Charles.
