Artist Bio:
The Raiders were an American rock band formed in 1961 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They achieved mainstream success in the mid-1960s with their garage rock and pop rock sound. The band was known for their energetic live performances and catchy songs, such as "Kicks" and "Indian Reservation."

The Raiders were led by founder and lead vocalist Mark Lindsay, who also played saxophone and percussion. The band underwent several lineup changes throughout their career, with Lindsay being the only constant member. The Raiders also gained popularity through their appearances on television shows, including a regular spot on the popular variety show "Where the Action Is." Despite their success, the band faced internal conflicts and eventually disbanded in the early 1970s.
