The Rainy Daze was an American psychedelic rock band formed in Denver, Colorado in 1965. The band's lineup included Tim Gilbert on vocals, Harry Garfield on guitar, Bob Heckendorf on bass, Mac Ferris on keyboards, and Dick Briggs on drums. They are best known for their hit single "That Acapulco Gold," which peaked at number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1967.


The Rainy Daze released their debut album, also titled "That Acapulco Gold," in 1967. The band's music was characterized by its psychedelic sound and catchy melodies, drawing inspiration from the popular music of the era.
