The Rascals were an American rock band formed in 1965 in New York City. The group consisted of members Felix Cavaliere (vocals, keyboards), Eddie Brigati (vocals), Gene Cornish (guitar), and Dino Danelli (drums). They were known for their blue-eyed soul sound which combined elements of rock, R&B, and pop music. The Rascals achieved mainstream success in the 1960s with hits such as "Good Lovin'," "Groovin'," and "People Got to Be Free."
The Rascals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and their influence on music continues to be felt today. Despite disbanding in the early 1970s, the group has reunited for various tours and performances over the years, showcasing their timeless music to new generations of fans.
