The Rascals, also known as The Young Rascals, were an American rock band formed in 1965 in New York City. The group consisted of members Felix Cavaliere (vocals, keyboard), Eddie Brigati (vocals), Gene Cornish (guitar), and Dino Danelli (drums). They were known for their blue-eyed soul sound, combining elements of rock, pop, and R&B in their music. The Rascals achieved great success in the mid-1960s with hits such as "Good Lovin'," "Groovin'," and "People Got to Be Free."


The Rascals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and were considered one of the most influential bands of the 1960s. Despite disbanding in the early 1970s, The Rascals have reunited for various tours and performances over the years, showcasing their timeless music to new generations of fans.
