The Rascals, also known as The Young Rascals, were an American rock band formed in 1965 in New York City. The band consisted of members Felix Cavaliere on vocals and keyboards, Eddie Brigati on vocals, Gene Cornish on guitar, and Dino Danelli on drums. They were known for their unique blend of rock, R&B, and soul music, which helped them achieve mainstream success in the 1960s.


The Rascals released a string of hits during the mid-1960s, including "Good Lovin'," "Groovin'," and "People Got to Be Free." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, recognizing their influence on the rock music scene of the era. The Rascals disbanded in the early 1970s but have reunited for several tours and performances over the years.
