Artist Bio:
The Regents were an American doo-wop group formed in the late 1950s. The group consisted of Guy Villari, Sal Cuomo, Chuck Fassert, Don Jacobucci, and Tony Gravagna. They are best known for their hit song "Barbara-Ann," which was released in 1961 and reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song has since become a doo-wop classic and has been covered by numerous artists.
Despite the success of "Barbara-Ann," The Regents were unable to replicate the same level of success with their other releases. The group disbanded in the mid-1960s but their music continues to be celebrated by fans of doo-wop and oldies music.
