The Replacements were an American rock band formed in Minneapolis in 1979. The band's original lineup consisted of Paul Westerberg (vocals, guitar), Bob Stinson (guitar), Tommy Stinson (bass), and Chris Mars (drums). Known for their raw and energetic live performances, The Replacements gained a cult following for their punk rock and alternative rock sound.


Throughout their career, The Replacements released several critically acclaimed albums, including "Let It Be" and "Tim." The band is often credited with influencing a generation of alternative rock musicians and bands.
