Artist Bio:
The Rivingtons were an American doo-wop and R&B group formed in Los Angeles in the late 1950s. The group consisted of lead singer Al Frazier, tenor singer Carl White, baritone singer Sonny Harris, and bass singer Turner "Rocky" Wilson Jr. They are best known for their hit song "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow," which was released in 1962 and became a popular dance craze. The song's nonsensical lyrics and catchy melody helped it achieve widespread success, and it has been covered by numerous artists over the years.

In addition to "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow," The Rivingtons also had other hits such as "Mama-Oom-Mow-Mow" and "The Bird's the Word." Their music was characterized by energetic vocal harmonies and a lively, upbeat sound that captured the spirit of the early 1960s. The Rivingtons' music continues to be celebrated for its contribution to the doo-wop and R&B genres.
