Artist Bio:
The Royal Guardsmen were an American rock band formed in 1966 in Ocala, Florida. The band is best known for their series of novelty hits inspired by the Peanuts comic strip created by Charles Schulz. Their most famous song, "Snoopy vs. the Red Baron," reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1966. The song was followed by other Snoopy-themed hits such as "The Return of the Red Baron" and "Snoopy's Christmas."

The Royal Guardsmen continued to release music throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s, but they never achieved the same level of commercial success as they did with their Snoopy-themed songs. Despite their brief time in the spotlight, The Royal Guardsmen remain a beloved part of pop culture history for their catchy tunes and whimsical lyrics.
