Artist Bio:
The Royalettes were an American girl group formed in 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland. The original members of the group were Sheila Ross, Annette Davis, and Terry Jones. They were known for their soulful harmonies and smooth vocal delivery, which helped them gain popularity in the 1960s music scene.
The Royalettes achieved success with their hit single "It's Gonna Take a Miracle" in 1965, which reached the top 10 on the Billboard R&B chart and top 40 on the pop chart. The group continued to release music throughout the 1960s, but they never achieved the same level of commercial success as their debut single. Despite this, The Royalettes remain a respected part of the girl group era of music history.
