Artist Bio:
The Royalettes were an American girl group formed in Baltimore, Maryland in the early 1960s. The group consisted of Sheila Ross, Anita Ross, and Terry Jones, and later added Veronica Brown. They were signed to MGM Records and released their debut single, "It's Gonna Take a Miracle," in 1965. The song became their biggest hit, reaching #41 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #28 on the R&B chart. The Royalettes' sound was a mix of doo-wop, soul, and pop, and they were known for their tight harmonies and emotional vocal delivery.

Despite their talent and critical acclaim, The Royalettes never achieved the same level of commercial success as some of their contemporaries. They continued to release music throughout the 1960s but eventually disbanded in the early 1970s. Over the years, their music has been rediscovered by fans of 1960s girl groups and Northern soul enthusiasts, keeping their legacy alive.
