Artist Bio:
The Searchers were an English rock band formed in 1962. They were part of the British Invasion, which saw a wave of British bands finding success in the United States during the 1960s. The band's original lineup consisted of members John McNally, Mike Pender, Tony Jackson, Chris Curtis, and eventually, drummer Kevin Pender. Their music was characterized by their vocal harmonies and jangly guitar sound.

The Searchers are best known for their hits such as "Needles and Pins," "Love Potion No. 9," and their cover of "Sweets for My Sweet." They achieved significant success in the 1960s, with several top 10 hits in both the UK and the US. The band's popularity waned in the late 1960s, but they continued to tour and perform together in various iterations throughout the years. The Searchers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
