Artist Bio:
The Shirelles were an American girl group that achieved popularity in the early 1960s. They were formed in 1957 in Passaic, New Jersey, and consisted of members Shirley Owens, Doris Coley, Beverly Lee, and Addie "Micki" Harris. The group was known for their sweet harmonies, catchy tunes, and influence on the girl group genre.

The Shirelles are best known for their hit songs such as "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" and "Soldier Boy," both of which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They were one of the first girl groups to achieve mainstream success and paved the way for other female artists in the music industry. The Shirelles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 in recognition of their contributions to the music world.
