Artist Bio:
The Shirelles were an American girl group that achieved popularity in the early 1960s. They were formed in Passaic, New Jersey, in 1957 and consisted of members Shirley Owens, Doris Coley, Beverly Lee, and Addie "Micki" Harris. The group's music was a blend of pop, doo-wop, and R&B styles, and they are often credited as one of the pioneering girl groups of the era.

The Shirelles are best known for their hit songs such as "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," "Soldier Boy," and "Mama Said." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 and were also inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004. The Shirelles' influence on popular music can still be heard today, and they are remembered as trailblazers in the girl group genre.
