Artist Bio:
The Shirelles were an American girl group that achieved popularity in the early 1960s. The group was formed in 1957 in Passaic, New Jersey, and consisted of members Shirley Owens, Doris Coley, Beverly Lee, and Addie "Micki" Harris. They were one of the first and most successful girl groups of the era, known for their sweet harmonies and soulful vocals.

The Shirelles are best known for their hit songs "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," which became their first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and "Soldier Boy," which also reached the top of the charts. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 and were influential in paving the way for other girl groups to follow. Despite various lineup changes over the years, The Shirelles' music continues to be celebrated for its timeless appeal and influence on the pop and R&B music genres.
