Artist Bio:
The Shirelles were an American girl group that achieved popularity in the early 1960s. They were formed in 1957 in Passaic, New Jersey, and consisted of members Shirley Owens, Doris Coley, Beverly Lee, and Addie "Micki" Harris. The group was known for their sweet harmonies and catchy pop tunes, and they were one of the first girl groups to achieve mainstream success.

The Shirelles are best known for their hit songs such as "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," which became their first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They also had other popular songs like "Soldier Boy" and "Dedicated to the One I Love." The Shirelles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, recognizing their influence on the development of the girl group genre in popular music.
