The group's original lineup consisted of lead singer Jimmy Beaumont, Janet Vogel, Wally Lester, Jackie Taylor, and Joe Verscharen. Their most popular and well-known song is "Since I Don't Have You," which was released in 1959 and became a hit, reaching number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.


The Skyliners are considered one of the iconic groups of the doo-wop genre, known for their tight harmonies and emotional vocal delivery. They continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and beyond, with various lineup changes over the years.
