Artist Bio:
The Soul Clan was a short-lived American soul supergroup formed in 1967. The group was composed of five prominent soul music artists: Solomon Burke, Arthur Conley, Don Covay, Ben E. King, and Joe Tex. Each member had their own successful solo careers in the 1960s, and they came together to collaborate on a single album.

Their only album, titled "Soul Meeting," was released in 1968 under the Atlantic Records label. The album featured a mix of original songs and covers, showcasing the individual talents of each member while also highlighting their harmonious blend as a group. Despite the success of their album, The Soul Clan disbanded shortly after its release, and the members returned to focusing on their respective solo careers.
