The Spinners are a legendary American R&B vocal group that formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1954. They are known for their smooth harmonies and soulful sound. The group's original members were Henry Fambrough, Billy Henderson, Pervis Jackson, C.P. Spencer, and James Edwards. Over the years, the group has seen various lineup changes, with some members departing and new members joining.


In the 1970s, The Spinners achieved great commercial success with a string of hits including "I'll Be Around," "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love," and "The Rubberband Man." They were one of the most popular R&B groups of the era and were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999. The Spinners continue to perform and tour to this day, keeping their timeless music alive for new generations to enjoy.
