Artist Bio:
The Spinners are a legendary American R&B vocal group that was formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1954. They are known for their smooth harmonies and soulful sound, and are considered one of the most successful R&B groups of the 1970s. The original members of the group were Henry Fambrough, Billy Henderson, Pervis Jackson, C. P. Spencer, and James Edwards.

The Spinners achieved commercial success with a string of hits including "I'll Be Around," "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love," and "The Rubberband Man." They were signed to Motown Records in the 1960s before switching to Atlantic Records in the 1970s, where they found their greatest success. The Spinners were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999 and continue to perform today with a lineup that includes Henry Fambrough as the only original member.
