Artist Bio:
The Spinners, also known as The Detroit Spinners, are an American rhythm and blues vocal group that achieved great success in the 1970s. The group was formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1954 and originally consisted of members Billy Henderson, Henry Fambrough, Pervis Jackson, C.P. Spencer, and James Edwards. Over the years, the lineup changed, and the group saw the most commercial success with members like Bobby Smith, Philippé Wynne, and John Edwards.

The Spinners are known for their smooth harmonies, soulful vocals, and hits such as "I'll Be Around," "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love," and "Rubberband Man." They were signed to Motown Records in the 1960s before finding even greater success with Atlantic Records in the 1970s. The Spinners were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999 and continue to perform and tour, carrying on their legacy of timeless soul music.
