Artist Bio:
The Spinners are an American R&B vocal group that formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1954. They are known for their smooth harmonies and soulful sound, and have been influential in the development of R&B music. The original members of the group were Henry Fambrough, Pervis Jackson, Billy Henderson, Bobbie Smith, and George Dixon. The Spinners achieved commercial success in the 1970s with hits such as "I'll Be Around," "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love," and "The Rubberband Man."


The Spinners were signed to the Motown label in the 1960s before moving to Atlantic Records in the early 1970s, where they experienced their greatest success. They have been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards and have been inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. Despite changes in the lineup over the years, The Spinners have continued to perform and record music, maintaining a loyal fan base.
