Artist Bio:
The Spinners were an American rhythm and blues vocal group that formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1954. The group found success in the 1970s with a string of hits on the Motown label, including "It's a Shame" and "I'll Be Around." The Spinners were known for their smooth harmonies, soulful sound, and energetic live performances.

The group's lineup changed over the years, but original member Henry Fambrough remained a constant presence. The Spinners continued to perform and record music throughout the decades, earning them a spot in the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. Their music remains popular today, and they are considered one of the most successful soul groups of the 1970s.
