Artist Bio:
The Spinners are an American R&B group that formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1954. Originally known as the Domingoes, the group changed their name to The Spinners in 1961. The original members included Bobby Smith, George Dixon, Billy Henderson, Henry Fambrough, and Pervis Jackson. Over the years, there were several lineup changes, but the group continued to achieve success in the music industry.


The Spinners are known for their hit songs such as "I'll Be Around," "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love," and "The Rubberband Man." They were signed to the Motown label in the 1960s and later found success with Atlantic Records in the 1970s. The group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999. The Spinners have been praised for their smooth harmonies, catchy melodies, and timeless soulful sound, making them one of the most beloved R&B groups of all time.
