The Spinners are an American rhythm and blues vocal group that formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1954. The group found success in the 1970s as a part of the Motown label. The original members included Bobbie Smith, Pervis Jackson, Henry Fambrough, Billy Henderson, and George Dixon. Over the years, there were several lineup changes, but the group continued to perform and record music.


The Spinners are known for hits such as "I'll Be Around," "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love," and "The Rubberband Man." They have earned multiple Grammy Award nominations and have been inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. The Spinners' smooth harmonies and soulful sound have solidified their place as one of the most iconic vocal groups in music history.
