Artist Bio:
The Spinners are a soul music vocal group from Detroit, Michigan, that formed in 1954. They are known for their smooth harmonies, polished performances, and string of hit songs throughout the 1970s and 1980s. The original members of the group included Bobby Smith, Pervis Jackson, Henry Fambrough, Billy Henderson, and George Dixon. Over the years, the lineup changed, but The Spinners maintained their popularity and success.

The Spinners achieved mainstream success with hits like "I'll Be Around," "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love," and "The Rubberband Man." They were signed to the Motown label in the 1960s and later to Atlantic Records, where they found their greatest commercial success. The Spinners were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999 and continue to perform and tour to this day.
