The Sports gained popularity in the late 1970s and early 1980s with their catchy pop-rock sound and witty lyrics.

The band released several albums during their career, including "Reckless" in 1978 and "Sondra" in 1979. Their most successful album, "Don't Throw Stones" was released in 1981 and included hit singles such as "Who Listens to the Radio?" and "Strangers on a Train."
