Artist Bio:
The Statler Brothers were an American country music group formed in 1955 in Staunton, Virginia. The group consisted of four members: Harold Reid, Phil Balsley, Jimmy Fortune, and Don Reid. They are best known for their close harmony singing and traditional country music sound. The Statler Brothers achieved great success in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, with hits such as "Flowers on the Wall," "Bed of Roses," and "Elizabeth." They were also known for their long association with Johnny Cash, who helped them secure a record deal and featured them on his television show.

The Statler Brothers won multiple awards throughout their career, including three Grammy Awards for Best Country Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group. They were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008. After retiring from performing in 2002, the group continued to be active in the music industry, with several members pursuing solo careers and collaborative projects.
