Artist Bio:
The Stompers are an American rock band formed in East Boston, Massachusetts in 1977. The band was founded by singer and songwriter Sal Baglio, who also plays guitar. The original lineup included Stephen Gilligan on bass, Dave Friedman on drums, and Mark Cuccinello on keyboards. The Stompers gained popularity in the Boston music scene during the late 1970s and early 1980s, known for their energetic live performances and catchy, melodic rock songs.

The Stompers released their debut album, "The Stompers," in 1983, which included their hit single "Coast to Coast." The band's music is often described as a mix of rock, pop, and roots music, drawing influences from artists like Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. The Stompers continue to perform and record music, with Sal Baglio remaining as the driving force behind the band.
