Artist Bio:
The Style Council was a British band formed in 1983 by Paul Weller, former lead singer and guitarist of The Jam, and Mick Talbot, former keyboardist of The Merton Parkas. The duo created a unique sound that blended elements of pop, soul, jazz, and funk. The band was known for their stylish and sophisticated image, as well as their socially conscious lyrics.

The Style Council released a number of successful albums throughout the 1980s, including "Café Bleu" (1984) and "Our Favourite Shop" (1985). They achieved several hit singles, such as "Shout to the Top!" and "My Ever Changing Moods." The band's music was praised for its experimentation and genre-defying nature. The Style Council disbanded in 1989, with Paul Weller pursuing a successful solo career.
