Artist Bio:
The Sunrays were an American pop group formed in 1964 in California. The band is best known for their hit single "I Live for the Sun," which reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1965. The Sunrays were signed to Capitol Records and were produced by legendary music producer, Murry Wilson, who was the father of Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson of the Beach Boys.

The Sunrays' music was characterized by their harmonious vocals and upbeat surf rock sound, which was popular during the 1960s. Despite their initial success, the band struggled to maintain their momentum and disbanded in the late 1960s. The Sunrays left behind a legacy as a part of the surf rock genre and continue to be remembered for their contribution to the music scene of the 1960s.
