The Supremes & Four Tops were two popular American musical groups that formed a collaboration in the late 1960s. The Supremes were a female singing group formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1959. They achieved tremendous success in the 1960s with hits such as "Where Did Our Love Go" and "You Can't Hurry Love." The group's lineup included Diana Ross, Mary Wilson, and Florence Ballard.
The Four Tops, on the other hand, were a male vocal quartet formed in Detroit in 1953. They were known for their soulful harmonies and hits like "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)" and "Reach Out I'll Be There." The group consisted of Levi Stubbs, Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, and Lawrence Payton. The Supremes & Four Tops collaborated on a successful album in 1970, producing hit songs like "River Deep ΓÇô Mountain High" and "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing."
