The Supremes were one of the most successful groups of the 1960s, with 12 number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making them the most successful American musical group of the decade.

The Supremes were known for their polished performances, tight harmonies, and glamorous image. Diana Ross eventually emerged as the group's lead singer and later went on to have a successful solo career. The Supremes' hit songs include "Where Did Our Love Go," "Baby Love," and "Stop! In the Name of Love." The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
