Artist Bio:
The Supremes were an American female singing group that achieved great success in the 1960s. The group was formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1959, and originally consisted of members Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson, and Diana Ross. They were signed to Motown Records and quickly became one of the label's most successful acts. The Supremes are known for their polished performances, glamorous style, and smooth harmonies.

The group released a string of hit songs, including "Stop! In the Name of Love," "You Can't Hurry Love," and "Where Did Our Love Go," which all topped the charts. The Supremes became known as the most successful vocal group of the 1960s in the United States. Diana Ross eventually left the group to pursue a solo career in 1970, leading to the end of The Supremes as a trio. Despite their breakup, The Supremes' impact on popular music and culture continues to be recognized to this day.
