Artist Bio:
The Supremes were an American female vocal group formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1959. The original lineup consisted of Diana Ross, Florence Ballard, and Mary Wilson. They were signed to Motown Records and quickly became the label's most successful act in the 1960s. The Supremes achieved twelve number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making them one of the most successful vocal groups in history.

Diana Ross eventually emerged as the lead singer of the group, and they were known for their polished performances, glamorous style, and catchy pop-soul songs. Some of their most famous hits include "Where Did Our Love Go," "Stop! In the Name of Love," and "You Can't Hurry Love." The Supremes became international stars and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, solidifying their legacy as one of the most iconic girl groups of all time.
