Artist Bio:
The Supremes were an American female singing group that achieved great success in the 1960s. The group was formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1959 and originally consisted of Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson, and Diana Ross. Diana Ross eventually emerged as the lead singer, and the group signed with Motown Records in 1961. They quickly became one of Motown's most successful acts, with numerous hit songs that included "Where Did Our Love Go," "Baby Love," and "Stop! In the Name of Love."

The Supremes became known for their elegant style, tight harmonies, and polished performances. They were one of the most successful vocal groups of the 1960s and helped to define the Motown sound. The group's success waned in the early 1970s, and Diana Ross left to pursue a solo career in 1970. The Supremes continued with new members but disbanded in 1977. Despite their breakup, The Supremes remain one of the most influential and successful girl groups in music history.
