Artist Bio:
Formed in 1959 in Detroit, Michigan, The Supremes were a highly successful Motown group known for their polished performances and glamorous image. The group originally consisted of founding members Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson, and Diana Ross. With Ross as the lead singer, The Supremes achieved mainstream success in the 1960s with hits like "Where Did Our Love Go" and "Stop! In the Name of Love." After Ross left the group in 1970 to pursue a solo career, Jean Terrell joined The Supremes as the new lead singer. Despite the lineup change, The Supremes continued to release successful music, with "Up The Ladder To The Roof" being one of their notable hits.
