Artist Bio:
The Supremes were an American female singing group that rose to fame in the 1960s. The group was formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1959 as The Primettes before changing their name to The Supremes. The original members included Diana Ross, Mary Wilson, and Florence Ballard, with Diana Ross becoming the lead singer. They were signed to Motown Records and achieved widespread success with their signature blend of pop, soul, and R&B music.

The Supremes became one of Motown's most successful acts, with a string of hits that included songs like "Where Did Our Love Go," "Baby Love," and "Stop! In the Name of Love." They were known for their glamorous style, tight harmonies, and choreographed dance routines. The group's success helped pave the way for future female vocal groups and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
