Artist Bio:
The Swinging Blue Jeans were a British rock band formed in Liverpool in 1961. They were part of the Merseybeat music scene along with bands like The Beatles and The Searchers. The original members were Ray Ennis, Les Braid, Ralph Ellis, and Norman Kuhlke. Their biggest hit was a cover of the song "Hippy Hippy Shake" in 1964, which reached the top 10 in both the UK and the US.

The Swinging Blue Jeans continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and beyond, with various lineup changes over the years. They toured extensively and were known for their energetic live performances. The band's music was a mix of rock and roll, R&B, and pop, influenced by American artists like Chuck Berry and Little Richard.
