Artist Bio:
The Sylvers were a family music group from Watts, Los Angeles, California, active in the 1970s and early 1980s. The group was formed by their mother, Olympia, and consisted of nine siblings: Olympia Jr., Leon, Charmaine, James, Edmund, Ricky, Angie, Pat, and Foster. They began their music career in the early 1970s and were known for their blend of R&B, soul, and disco music.

The Sylvers gained popularity with hits such as "Boogie Fever," "Hot Line," and "High School Dance." They released a total of ten albums between 1972 and 1984. The group was also known for their stylish and coordinated outfits during performances. Despite their success in the 1970s, The Sylvers eventually disbanded in the early 1980s, with some of the siblings pursuing solo careers in music.
