The Tams are an American vocal group from Atlanta, Georgia, known for their mix of R&B, beach music, and soul. The group was formed in the early 1960s and originally consisted of brothers Joe Pope and Charles Pope, Horace Key, Floyd Ashton, and Robert Lee Smith. They are best known for their hits such as "Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy" and "What Kind of Fool (Do You Think I Am)".


The Tams' music has had a lasting impact, particularly in the beach music scene in the southern United States. They continue to perform and tour, with a rotating lineup of members that often includes original member Charles Pope's son, Little Redd.
