Artist Bio:
The Teddy Bears were an American pop music group formed in 1958 in Los Angeles, California. The group consisted of Phil Spector, Marshall Leib, and Annette Kleinbard. They are best known for their hit single "To Know Him Is to Love Him," which was written by Spector and reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1958. The song's title was inspired by the epitaph on Spector's father's tombstone.

Despite the success of their debut single, The Teddy Bears disbanded in 1959 after releasing only a few more singles that did not achieve the same level of success. Phil Spector went on to become a legendary music producer, known for his innovative "Wall of Sound" production technique. The Teddy Bears' brief but impactful career left a lasting legacy on the pop music industry.
