Artist Bio:
The Temprees were an American soul vocal trio formed in Memphis, Tennessee in the late 1960s. The group was composed of Jasper "Jabo" Phillips, Harold "Scotty" Scott, and Deljuan "Del" Calvin. They were signed to the Stax Records label and gained popularity in the early 1970s with their smooth, harmonious sound.

Their biggest hit came in 1972 with the song "Dedicated to the One I Love," which reached number 16 on the Billboard R&B chart. The Temprees released three albums during their time together: "Dedicated," "Lovemen," and "Three." While they did not achieve the same level of commercial success as some of their labelmates, The Temprees are still remembered for their soulful and romantic ballads that captured the essence of the Memphis soul sound.
