Artist Bio:
The Temptations are an American vocal group known for their success in the Motown music scene during the 1960s and 1970s. Formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1960, the group originally consisted of Otis Williams, Melvin Franklin, Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks, and Elbridge "Al" Bryant. They are known for their smooth harmonies, choreography, and hit songs such as "My Girl", "Ain't Too Proud to Beg", and "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone".


Throughout their career, The Temptations have won three Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. They have also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. Despite numerous lineup changes over the years, The Temptations have remained a popular and influential group in the history of soul and R&B music.
